One of my favorite times of the year...it's fall, evening now, the house is clean, the kids are in bed, quiet but the sound of some favorite music playing softly, nothing but the glow of the lamps and the muted television, the warmth of fall decorations fills the space we live in. The photo captures my favorite picture "Grace" by Eric Enstrom... beautiful to me always, I find the message perfect for this season. Not one of the four seasons, but the season of our lives that we are in now. A man praying over a simple meal. I am reminded of the many blessings in my life in a season where people are having to choose between a simple meal and the other necessities of life.
That sounds like my kind of evening!! Oh yeah, with the smell of a "pumpkin spice" candle burning.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful image ... giving thanks. Sincerely ~ Tricia Anne
